Reconditioning of plain bearings
At Jurex Group, we recondition bearings and machine parts, extending their service life and reducing maintenance costs. Precise diagnostics, state-of-the-art machining and high-quality materials restore the components to their original specifications. Every component undergoing reconditioning undergoes a thorough diagnosis to determine the extent of wear and select the best repair method. We use advanced technologies and modern equipment to ensure precise machining and the highest quality of reconditioned parts. As a result, we restore the components to full functionality, extending their service life and reliability.
Manufacture of bearing housings
At Jurex Group, we manufacture castings – cast iron, cast steel, steel and bronze – based on our own documentation (including reconstruction drawings) as well as documentation provided by the customer. Our modern housings are designed with attention to every detail. The use of high-quality materials and raw materials, combined with advanced machining methods, ensures high strength and a precise fit within the machine structure. The robustness and stability of our housings form the foundation of the reliability of the entire bearing system.
Fitting (installation/dismantling) services, emergency repairs
We offer a service to fit plain bearings to journal shafts and mating shafts. We carry out visual inspections and measurements whilst dismantling the bearings, assess whether the sliding surface requires reconditioning, and complete a „Dismantling Report”; carry out the full bearing regeneration process, and then fit it to the journal in accordance with best practice. Following this service, the customer receives an extended warranty for the bearing from us.
Fixed-term contracts for servicing and inspections
By providing ongoing „support” for our clients’ equipment, we are able to prevent costly downtime.
Stock levels
We hold stock of standard bearings for industrial pumps from leading Polish and international manufacturers. Available immediately or within a few working days.
Design
Advanced design and application
Our plain bearings feature a unique design in which the inner ring has a convex, spherical surface, while the outer ring has a concave surface. With this design, the bearings are ideally suited to applications where alignment movements are required between shaft and housing, and where oscillating or repeated tilting movements must be permitted at relatively low sliding speeds.

Variety of materials and bearing types
We offer bearings that are available with different combinations of sliding contact surfaces, allowing them to be optimally adapted to the specific needs of the customer. There are two main groups in our range:
Spherical plain bearings requiring lubrication
They are characterised by the need for regular re-lubrication to ensure that the lubricating properties are maintained.
Maintenance-free plain bearings - ideal solutions where minimal service intervention is required.
Transverse plain bearings (steel on steel)
For radial plain bearings requiring maintenance, we use a hardened sliding contact surface on both rings. These surfaces are coated with molybdenum disulphide grease (MoS₂) and a phosphate coating, which significantly increases wear and corrosion resistance. Thanks to the high strength of the sliding contact surfaces, these bearings are particularly suitable for applications subjected to high alternating loads, shock loads and high static loads.
